Our Label

Our Manifesto

LSA Records is the music publishing arm of London Sound Academy, the UK’s leading independent electronic music academy.

Our manifesto is to showcase new upcoming talent across the spectrum of electronic music genres. We exist as a platform for unheard new artists but also as a learning and support network, giving new producers the tools and encouragement they need to launch their music careers. Harnessing the resources of LSA, including recording studios, engineers and links with music professionals, we will create an incubator that goes beyond the reach of many standard record labels. LSA Records will be a factory for new talent and a forward-thinking community of music entrepreneurs.

Pearce E

Pearce E (Alex Pearce) is an experienced producer and tutor who over the last few years has been focusing his attention towards different areas of techno. With a keen ear for the production process behind club orientated tracks, Pearce E has been honing his own sound and creating techno in a range of different styles, whilst also performing as part of a DJ duo at some of London’s most iconic venues such as EGG London and Ministry of Sound.

Cyprusian

Cyprusian is a House and Techno artist based in Leeds, UK. As the name suggests. Musically interested from a young age, outside of the DJ booth, he has multi-instrument experience - including electric, bass and acoustic guitars as well as drums and even supplying vocals. Leaning more towards the realms of melodic House and Techno, Cyprusian cites inspiration from artists like ARTBAT, Tale of Us, Sam Paganini and Alan Fitzpatrick. His sonic palate varies from enraptured after-hours Deep House through to harder hitting, emotive peak time Techno tracks. Some of his most notable performances to date include Ministry of Sound, Egg London, Brixton O2 Academy, Distrikt Leeds, Pure Ibiza, Itaca Ibiza, Sousami and Rumours, Cyprus, Supporting the likes of Ben Nicky, ATB, Maxinne, Klingande, Deborah de Luca, MK, Disciples and more. His recent release Beatz EP managed a top 30 spot in the Traxsource top 100 Techno charts.

Son of Abe

From the musical melting pot of south London, grew a lad called Son of Abe. He found his calling as a DJ in Brighton and is now established in London, UK. Son of Abe is atypical of most DJs in the industry, who become popular through their work as producers – he has carefully crafted his art as a DJ before dipping into the world of production and anyone who has heard his DJ sets will understand his deep love of his music. With trippy vocals and percussive rhythms, the echoes of the young influences are immediately apparent, bringing his audiences through a journey of melodic techno that evokes the same strong emotions in the crowd that he feels for his art.

Marc Spence

“Marc has shown a great deal of natural ability in music and should be pushed to pursue it” - the self-fulfilling prophecy etched on his school report at the age of just 7. With a burning desire and relentless work ethic, Marc has been tailoring his life to music for over 15 years. Constantly pushing, evolving and inspiring those around him. A self-taught DJ and Producer whose infectious beats (and personality) have seen him tour all across the globe. Testament to his ability to craft a constantly unique, evolving sound, his releases can be found on some of the industry's most prestigious labels: Dirtybird, Universal, Interscope, Insomniac & This Ain’t Bristol plus many more. Marc's own imprint Box of Cats - alongside Wongo and Kyle Watson - has also received critical praise. Rattling around in the loose canon of House music, his no-holds-barred production style is famously difficult to pin down. But therein lies the appeal, seizing praise and support from the likes of Claude Von Stroke and Luciano to Denis Sulta and Carl Cox.
